When to use this service

If you need a message to land credibly, interviews are often the surest way. They humanize the message, building emotional connections and engagement with the product, service, or behavior.

Process

How it works

Simple steps. Clear approvals. No surprises.
Step

Brief + inputs

You share goals, audience, and deliverables. If you already have a treatment or brief, we’ll review it to assess budget and schedule impacts. Another important consideration is what B-roll is necessary to cover the various interviews, as that affects the budget.

Step

Script + alignment

We confirm the length, tone, brand considerations, and specific B-roll to be included. Together, we develop interview questions to elicit answers aligned with the project goals. After the interview shoot, we provide MP4 files of each interview with timecode burned in. Usually, clients review those MP4s and select sections for inclusion in the story.

Step

Look + sequences

After receiving the client’s selections, together we determine how the selections (or portions thereof) should be laid out to tell the story. The next step is a rough edit without B-roll. Then revisions are made to that to tighten the story and meet time constraints.

Step

Finish + deliver

Final edit, soundtrack, animations, captions, exports, and versions. You get clean files ready to use.

FAQ

COMMON QUESTIONS:

Product introductions, service initiatives, sales and marketing, onboarding, internal initiatives.

Usually, clients provide a brief outlining their projected use and objectives. An interview script depends on the interview’s content, so interview questions are developed with the client to elicit responses aligned with the story objectives. Usually, after the shoot, our client writes a script based on the interviews. If writing assistance is needed, we will assist with writing—especially to keep runtime and scope aligned with budget and schedule.

B-roll is supplementary video footage used to add context, visual interest, and emotional depth to the story while the person being interviewed speaks. It breaks up static talking heads, covers edit points, and supports the storytelling with details such as close-ups, establishing shots, and relevant action. It shows what the speaker is talking about, making the final product more engaging for the viewer.

We will provide auditions from several professional narrators in MP3 format, so you have a choice. Sometimes, an executive interview provides enough context to serve as the narrative thread, both on-camera and in voiceover.

We use an extensive licensed music library with a great variety of music styles. We can also produce an original score.

Shorter is usually better, one to five minutes, depending on use, particularly social use. But length is ultimately defined by the message and client expectations. We have produced 20-minute interview videos.

Yes. We can align fonts, color, pacing, voice, and B-roll to your brand.

Think of our production as work for hire: you own the deliverables, and we claim no rights to your production. If there are platform or third-party licensing considerations, we’ll flag them up front.
